Attendance
Clock in and out, apply for and approve leave, and keep attendance discipline visible.
Overview
Attendance handles the day-to-day of who is working, who is off, and how consistently the team shows up — with flexible clock-in methods that suit agency, consultant, and remote teams.
- One-click clock-in — clock in and out with breaks, overrun guards, and corrections.
- Leave balances — each person's leave policy sets the quota, yearly or monthly accrual, and carry-forward cap per type.
- Holidays — pick the year's holidays from the official Indian lists in one checklist.
- Team visibility — see who is in, out, or on leave today without pinging anyone.
- Payroll tie-in — attendance, leave and holidays decide paid days and Loss of Pay.
Clock in & out
Team members clock in to start their day, take breaks, and clock out when done. A shift that runs past the limit set in Settings → Attendance is flagged, and managers approve corrections to clock-in and clock-out times. Today's status for the whole team is visible at a glance.
Attendance discipline
Attendance discipline summarizes how consistently each person meets expectations — on-time arrivals, completed hours, and adherence to schedule. It gives managers an objective, at-a-glance signal that feeds into reviews and payroll, replacing subjective impressions.
Leaves & holidays
Team members apply from the clock-in widget: Apply for Leave, pick the type — casual, sick, earned, comp-off, restricted holiday, maternity, paternity, bereavement, unpaid or other — and the dates (a half day is allowed on a single date). Before sending, the form shows their own balance, how many days the request takes, how many the balance covers, and how many would be Loss of Pay. Weekly offs and holidays inside a leave are not charged unless the policy uses the sandwich rule, and maternity leave counts calendar days, as the law does.
A leave is approved once both HR and the person's manager approve it; in an agency without an HR person, the manager's approval is enough. My Leaves shows each request with both approval states, and managers review their team under Team Leave Requests or in Mission Control → Approvals. A request that overlaps another pending or approved leave is refused, and so is one that falls entirely on weekly offs and holidays.
Which types a person may take, how many days each gives, and how they accrue and carry forward come from their leave policy. Policies, the work week and the holiday list are covered in Leave & holidays. Approved paid leave within the balance is a paid day in payroll; unpaid leave, and paid leave beyond the balance, is Loss of Pay.
