Calendar
Schedule events and meetings, run scheduling polls, and keep deadlines and holidays in view.
Overview
The Calendar is a real, time-zone-aware calendar for your whole team. Events, meetings, project deadlines, and holidays all live together so you always know what is happening and who is available.
- Smart scheduling — find meeting slots that respect focus time and time zones.
- Deadline tracking — project milestones and task due dates auto-pin to the calendar.
- Calendar imports — two-way sync with Google, Outlook, and iCal to avoid double-booking.
- Meeting recordings — auto-record and transcribe video calls and attach them to the right project.
- Time-zone surfacing — always see the other person's local time before you send an invite.
Events & meetings
Create events for anything on the schedule and meetings for calls with your team or clients. Meetings can carry a video link and, once they happen, an auto-generated recording and transcript. Because the calendar knows each attendee's time zone, it surfaces everyone's local time so you never book someone at midnight.
Scheduling polls
When a group cannot agree on a time, send a scheduling poll. Propose several slots, let participants vote on what works, and lock in the winner. It replaces the endless "does Tuesday work?" email thread.
Holidays
Owners and managers set up the year's holidays from the official lists: open Holidays in the calendar and choose Review holidays. Pick the year and either All India (Central Government) — the 17 gazetted holidays ticked, the restricted holidays unticked — or your state or union territory, whose public holidays come ticked alongside the central restricted list. Tick to add a holiday to the calendar, untick to remove it. Islamic holidays are marked as subject to moon sighting. When a year has none loaded, the calendar prompts you to do this.
Each holiday is Public (office closed), Optional (a restricted holiday: the office is open and employees may take it as leave) or Company (your own). Holidays can also be added one at a time with a date, description and colour, and a recurring one repeats every year. Weekends on the calendar follow your work week. Public and company holidays are paid days in payroll and are skipped when leave is counted — see Leave & holidays.
