Licensing

Licensing lets you sell the software you build as licensed products. Issue per-customer keys, verify them over a simple REST API, and collect renewals through your own Razorpay account — without building a licensing system yourself.

• Per-product license keys — issue monthly or annual keys per customer from one dashboard.
• Drop-in verification API — your app checks a key's validity with a single request; no SDK needed.
• Auto renewal banners — apps show a renew prompt before expiry, with a configurable grace period.
• Hosted checkout — a Pay Now button opens a GigRoot-hosted page that charges through your Razorpay account.
• Finance-linked invoices — each renewal auto-creates a paid invoice and emails the customer a confirmation.
• Instant reactivation — on payment, the license extends and the product resumes automatically.

For each product and customer, issue a license key with a monthly or annual term. Manage all your keys, their status, and their expiry from the Licensing dashboard.

Your application verifies a key by calling the licensing verify endpoint and checking whether the key is valid and current. Because it is a plain REST call, you can integrate it into any stack without a special SDK. When a license lapses, your app can show the built-in renewal banner and Pay Now flow.
